Hongkong. 8 talents have been selected for the competition to be held in Kathmandu from the Hong Kong auditions of season-2 of the popular singing and dancing reality shows ‘Mero Voice Universe’ and ‘Mero Dance Universe’ season-2. An audition program was organized for this reality show organized by the Inter-National Welfare and Support Foundation of America in Nepal on the 15th of February in the hall of Blue Ocean Restaurant in Jordan, Hong Kong.

The audition program of the two reality shows was conducted in conjunction with Khushi Gurung, Managing Director of Khushi Events, Suku Limbu, Director of United Dance Studio and Sophia Gurung, Founder of Divine Dance Studio. Topraj Tamang, Dikesh Tamang, Saurabh Pakhrin Tamang, Anup Kumar Barailly and Binny Lama Rai have been selected from the said audition. Similarly, five people have been selected for dance, Rista Gurung, Yuvika Rana, Ayushma Rai, Diksha Gurung and Anjali Pun. In the audition, 14 people participated in the dance and 8 people participated in the singing.

Hong Kong singers Sarla Gurung and Manoj Gurung were the judges for the singing audition, while Shankar BC, a dance director and model from America, and Jugal Pomu, a Hong Kong choreographer and the founder of Miss Limbu Beauty Contest, were the judges for the dance. In the audition conducted by Ashmi Gurung, along with the judge BC, members of the organizing organization Intra, Roshan Bista, Lal Bahadur Tiwari, Sonu Tamang and Athiraj Sivakoti also participated.

A huge prize money is awarded to the winner of this international reality show based on Nepali singing and dancing. It is said that the winner of both the shows will be awarded a prize of Rs 1 crore, while the second and third runners-up will be awarded Rs 25 and 10 lakh respectively. The group dance presented at the beginning of every episode under ‘Mero Dance Universe’ will also be competitive and the winning team will get a cash prize of Rs.

The first edition of this show was held in the year 2023, which is taking auditions in different big cities of the world. This year’s Mero Voice Universe’ Deep Shrestha, Suresh Adhikari, Shiv Pariyar, Pushpan Pradhan and Anju Pant will be the judges, while the judges of ‘Mero Dance Universe’ will be Mithila Sharma, Dilip Rayamazhi, Shilpa Maske, Shankar BC, Kaviraj Gahatraj and Kiran Thapa.

Before that, on February 13th, a meet and greet event was organized by the organizers at the Blue Ocean Restaurant in Hong Kong. Presidents of various districts and presidents of organizations of different castes were present in the program.
