Kathmandu. Renowned singer Tara Thapa is buzzing through the golden evening on the 21st of this month. With the motto of uplifting art, literature, and music and honoring the faith, our campaign, Lafa Rung Foundation, is organizing a golden evening of the most popular mordhanya singer, Tara Thapa, to help cancer patients. The program will be held at the Cultural Institute’s auditorium with live instrumental music starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, Asar 21.
Singer Tara Thapa is presenting the popular and famous songs sung by her in this program. Singer Thapa will be accompanied by singers Devraj Ale, Sagar Ale, Manoj Thapa, Dipa Suhang, and Apsu Yogi. In this program, dance will also be presented in some songs sung by singer Tara Thapa. The organizers say the proceeds from this program will help, even if it means little to the suffering of cancer patients.
The golden evening will feature more than a dozen songs, including those by Thapa’s Sayathari Baja Eutai Taal, Phool Jhare Pani, Tari Nadeu Ya Majhi Dai, Sabaile Dine Yastai Hunchha Maya, Sannani Hansa Na, Katar Katarma, Kalilo Tamalai, and Kali Pani Dekhe Maile. In the program, the instrumental team led by singer, composer, and music coordinator Ashok Kumar Rai is practicing singing and instrumental music.
