Nepalgunj. Flights from Nepalgunj airport to Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Himalayan and hilly districts have been blocked for two days. The Civil Aviation Office in Nepalgunj has informed us that due to heavy rain, flights have not been able to take place since Saturday morning.

Although 1600 meters of visibility are required for an air flight, the flight could not take place due to the visibility of only 7/8 meters. Passengers are sitting at the airport, hoping for the weather to improve after the flight is suspended.

About 1,000 passengers have stopped at Nepalgunj due to the suspension of flights for two days. Passengers going to Kathmandu for treatment are facing more problems.

There are 3 Buddha Air, 2 Sri Air, and 1 Yeti Air flights from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu. Nepal Air Lines, Summit, and Tara Air have been flying from Nepalgunj to Mugu, Jumla, Humla, Dolpa, and Bajura.
