Kathmandu. UML president KP Sharma Oli has called and congratulated the artist and athlete Nanda Basyal, who won the gold medal in the international taekwondo competition, at his residence. Nanda reached Oli’s residence in Balkot on Tuesday morning to meet President Oli.
On the occasion of the meeting, Oli congratulated Nanda for winning the gold medal and succeeding in keeping the heads of Nepal and Nepalis high. He wore the medal he won in the competition again.

Nanda informed her through Facebook that Oli called her and met her at Oli’s residence. She said that Oli congratulated her and wished her well. She expressed her gratitude to Oli for giving her the opportunity to meet her.

She said, “Thank you very much, Oli ‘Ba’.” He gave me a lot of knowledge in the meeting, and his parenting has given me more encouragement.

She won the gold medal in the 2023 World Seongnam Hanmadang International Taekwondo Tournament. In the final match, she defeated Iran and won the gold medal. Athletes from 57 different countries participated in the competition. Even before this, many organizations related to art and sports had met and congratulated Nanda.
