Janakpurdham. A demonstration was held in Gaur demanding action against the culprits of the Gaur massacre. 27 people died in Gaur massacre 16 years ago.
The victims of the Gaur massacre staged a demonstration demanding action against the culprits involved in the incident.
The protestors said, ‘Punish Upendra Yadav, the main culprit of the Gaur murder case’. They chanted slogans such as ‘Justice cannot be ignored’, ‘Give justice to the victim’, ‘Protect human rights’, ‘Enforce law enforcement’, ‘Take action against the registered complaint’, ‘Don’t save the killer’, ‘We don’t want wild Raj’.
On March 20, 2007, there was a clash during a program held separately by the then Madheshi People’s Rights Forum Nepal and CPN Maoist Center under the leadership of Upendra Yadav at Rice Mill in Gaur headquarters.
In which a large number of Maoist workers were killed. They said that despite filing a complaint against those involved in the murder, no action was taken, so the demonstration was held to bring justice to the victims and to bring the criminals to justice.
Family members of the victims of the massacre also participated in the demonstration.
