Kathmandu. Inspector General of Nepal Police Basant Bahadur Kunwar has specially promoted 9 police officers.
Kunwar has specially promoted one police sub-inspector, two police assistant inspectors, 5 assistant constables and one constable.
According to the decision of Junly 16, the last day of the financial year, Kunwar has promoted Tilram Bohara Sarki, who is working at the National Police Training Institute, to the rank of Senior Deputy Inspector of Police.
Similarly, Arjun Setthi and Bamdev Ghimire have been promoted from Assistant Inspectors of Police to Deputy Inspectors of Police.
Police assistant constables Subas Nepali, Laxman Sapkota, Bhudarmani Joshi, Gankumar Khandluk and Upendra Chaudhary have been promoted as police constables. Police Constable Lochan Adhikari has been promoted to Police Assistant Constable.
In the Police Regulations, 2014, it is mentioned that the police personnel who perform excellent work can be promoted to a vacant post up to one level up to gazetted posts, except those without rank, on the recommendation of the policy making committee.
In this way, up to 10 people can be promoted in a financial year.
