Kathmandu: There is a partial effect of the western wind in Nepal. Because of this, there is a partial change in the hilly terrain. According to the Weather Forecast Division, there is fog in most parts of the Terai.
Partly to mostly cloudy in hilly areas during the afternoon. Light rain is likely over Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and hilly areas of the Far West. There will also be snowfall in the highlands and mountainous areas.

Similarly, it will be partly to mostly cloudy in hilly areas of the country at night. The department said that there will be light rain in the hilly areas of Koshi. Snowfall will also occur in the hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali at night. As the cold has increased across the country, the department has requested to take the necessary vigilance and precautions.
