Kathmandu. The number of people traveling through Tribhuvan International Airport as ‘transit’ has reached 19,500. According to the Tribhuvan Airport office, 19 thousand 482 passengers traveled through transit in one year. This airport is especially used by passengers going to New Delhi from Bhutan or going to Bhutan from Delhi.
 
According to the office, the highest number of 3,359 passengers transited the airport in October 2023. In March, 245 and in June, 458 made transit and traveled.
